WHO WE ARE

Midwest Container Pools was founded in 2022 by Sheldon Trieb, who brings experience as both a swimming pool contractor and the owner of a spray foam insulation company. Sheldon launched the business with a vision to create something unique, where he and his son, Brenden, could build a legacy together. 


After seeing flaws in the design and construction of other container pools, Sheldon introduced innovative techniques using fiberglass and spray foam to reinforce and insulate each shell. This approach ensures greater durability and reflects our commitment to setting new standards in pool construction. Our growing team of nine full-time employees is passionate about crafting high-quality, sustainable pools for clients across the U.S.


My background in pool construction, spray foam insulation, and general contracting provided a unique foundation for launching Midwest Container Pools. Years in pool construction gave me insight into the standards, challenges, and specific needs within the industry. Working with spray foam taught me innovative methods for insulation and sealing, which now enhance the durability and efficiency of our pools. Each experience helped me understand the nuances of durable design and gave me the tools to create container pools that elevate industry expectations for quality and reliability.

19 Years of pool experience

Since 2005, I’ve been immersed in the pool industry, gaining hands-on experience with every type of pool construction—from in-ground concrete and fiberglass to above-ground installations. This work continued alongside my main career, allowing me to refine my expertise in both design and installation. Each pool project taught me valuable lessons, and this extensive background now drives Midwest Container Pools. It ensures we deliver high-quality container pools with durability and efficiency at their core.

7 years welding

I spent seven years as a welder fabricator, working both in weld shops and with Union Local 10. This experience honed my skills in metalwork and structural integrity, which now play a significant role in the construction and design of Midwest Container Pools. The precision and craftsmanship required in welding gave me a deeper understanding of how to build durable, high-quality structures, a foundation I now apply to every container pool we create.

8 years of Spray Foam

In 2016, I launched and operated one of Kansas City’s highest-ranked spray foam insulation companies. My focus on quality and innovation quickly established the company as a leader in the field, attracting local companies who regularly turn to me for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Whether resolving complex issues on job sites or fine-tuning rig operations, I’ve become the first call for many when challenges arise, and I bring that same dedication and problem-solving expertise to Midwest Container Pools.
